Göreve gelme- sinin ardından 15 Ocak 2020 tarihinde İBB’nin yüzde 23,89 hisse ile ortağı olduğu İstanbul Dünya Ticaret Uğur Fora, who was appointed as the Exhibition Coordinator of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), is a business person who knows the problems of the sector with his history of fairs. İnanıyoruz ki; gerek bizlerin belediye olarak, gerek fuarcılık sektörünün başarılı çalışmaları ile birlikte yapacağımız çalışmalar ile oluştura- cağımız sinerji kısa süre içerisinde İstanbul’u fuarcılığın çekim merkezi haline getirecektir.” “We continue our efforts to make Istanbul the new center of fair organization. On 11 November 2020, we introduced our renewed fairgrounds to the exhibition industry. We carefully examine the fair centers around the world. We see that with its historical texture, tourism capaci- ty and trade volume, Istanbul deserves to be the fair center of the world by far.
