Son dönemde Covid-19 pandemisi nedeniyle sanal ortama taşınan fuarizmir, “yeni normal” dönemde yerli ve yabancı birbirinden önemli fuarları gerçekleştir- mek için gün sayıyor. KENTE KATKISI MİLYARI AŞIYOR İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi ev sahipliğinde, kentin ve sektörlerin tüm paydaşları işbirliğinde İZFAŞ tarafından fuarizmir’de düzenlenen fuarlar, kongreler ve etkinlik- ler; misafir fuarcılık şirketleri ile birleşince kente milyarlık katkı sağlıyor. Kentin ekonomik kalkınmasının en önemli araçlarından biri olarak görülen fuarcılığın daha gelişme- si amacıyla hizmete sunulan fuarizmir ile birlikte sektörler her yıl çıtasını daha da yükseltiyor. Türkiye'den 81 ilin yanı sıra, dünyanın her noktasını İzmir’de buluşturan etkinlik- ler sayesinde kent ekonomisi de hareketleniyor. MARBLE İzmir Fuarı, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir, Travel Turkey İzmir Turizm Fuar ve Kongresi başta olmak üzere birçok bü- yük fuarla beraber otellerdeki yüzde 100’e yakın doluluk oranları da dikkat çekiyor. Gerçekleşen binlerce ikili gö- rüşmeyle birlikte kent ve ülke ekonomisine büyük katkı- lar veren fuarlar, ihracatın artması için en etkin mecraları sunuyor. The sectors are raising the bar every year with the fairs held in order to further de- velop the exhibition industry, which is seen as one of the most important tools of the economic development of the city. Thanks to the events that bring together every cor- ner of the world as well as 81 cities from Turkey in Izmir, the urban economy is also livened. Nearly 100 percent occupancy rates in hotels attract attention along with many major fairs including MARBLE Izmir Fair, IF Wed- ding Fashion Izmir, Travel Turkey Izmir Tourism Fair and Congress. The fairs, which have contributed greatly to the city’s economy and the country with thousands of bilateral meetings, offer the most effective channels for increasing exports. 10 MINUTES TO AIRPORT, 15 MINUTES TO DOWNTOWN Fuarizmir, which is 10 minutes away from Adnan Men- deres Airport and 15 minutes from downtown, is equivalent to ap- proximately 50 football fields with a size of 330,000 square meters.
