Bu büyüklükteki bir inşaat alanı ile İzmir’de tek başına yapılan en büyük proje olan fuarizmir, aynı zamanda Türkiye'nin en nitelikli fuar kompleksi olma özelliğini taşıyor. Daha sonra doğabilecek talepleri karşılamak amacıyla, 2. etapta kullanılmak üzere 46 bin metrekarelik bir rezerv alanı oluşturuldu. Bunun haricinde ayrıca, 40 bin metre- karelik ayrı bir alan da otel ve kongre merkezi yapılması için ayrıldı.
