26 Haber www.ufyd.org TOBB üyesi Bülent Karakuş’un toplantıda hazır bulunduğunu dile getiren Avdagiç, TOBB’un vereceği katkıyla İstanbul Fuar- larının İstanbul’daki tanıtımından sonra eş zamanlı olarak tüm Türkiye’de bu tanıtım konusunda daha da iyi bir noktaya geli- neceğini belirtti. Fuar Şirketiyle Sözleşme Yapmadan Önce Fuar Alanı Kontratına Bakın İDTM Başkanı Avdagiç, toplantıda UFYD üyelerinden gelen soruları da cevapladı: Ağustos ayında 2021 takvimi başvuruları için fuar alan sözleşme peşinatları konusunda destek olunacak mı? sorusuna Avdagiç şöyle cevap verdi: “Bu konuda İDTM Yönetim Kurulu ile görüş- me yaparak cevap vermek daha uygun olur.” 2020 ve 2021 için İDTM olarak fuar iptal süresinin TOBB gibi 2 aya çekilmesi mümkün mü? Bunu engelleyen bir durum var mıdır ve bu süreçte bu uygulanamaz mı? sorusuna ise “İstanbul Dünya Ticaret Merkezi Genel Müdür Vekili sayın Haluk Kanca tarafından fuar iptalleri İDTM Yönetim Kuru- lunda görüşülerek 2 aya çekilebilir. Fuar iptallerinde herhangi bir cezai şart uygulamayabilir. Fuara katılmak isteyen İTO üyeleri, herhangi bir fuar şirketiyle stand bazında sözleşme yap- madan önce fuar alanıyla yeri kiralayıp kiralamadığını kontrol etmelerini öne- riyorum. Ayrıca fuarın TOBB’un fuar takviminde yeri var mı, yeri kiralamış mı? kontrol etmeleri kendi menfaatleri için iyi olacaktır. Herkesin işini doğru, kayıtlı ve kuralına uygun yapması bizim için son derece önemlidir. İDTM Yöne- timi bu durumda herkese eşit mesafede tam destek olmak adına iradesini ortaya koyacaktır” şeklinde cevap verdi. Telekonferansa katılarak düşüncele- rini paylaşan UFYD Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Mahmut Er ise aynı haftada iki farklı fuar alanında iki aynı konseptte fuarın olma- sının 2005 yılında hazırlanan mevzuatın günün şartlarına göre yenilenmemiş olmasından kaynaklandığı kanaatinde olunduğu dile getirdi. Mahmut Er, TOBB üyesi Bülent Karakuş’tan bu ko- nuda yardım talebinde bulunuldu. CheckThe Fairground Contract Before ContractingWith The Fair Company İDTM President Avdagiç answered questions coming from UFYD members at the meeting: One of the questions was: “Will there be support for the down payments of fair- ground contracts for 2021 calendar appli- cations in August?” Avdagiç answered the question as follows: “It would more appro- priate to answer this issue after meeting with the Board of Directors of İDTM.” The second question was: “Is it possible for İDTM to set the fair cancellation pe- riod to 2 months like TOBB? Is there a situation that prevents this and cannot this be applied in this process?” “The fair cancellation period can be determined as 2 months after Istanbul World Trade Center Deputy General Manager Haluk Kanca discusses the matter at the board meeting of İDTM. No penalty for fair cancellations can be realized. I suggest that İTO members who want to attend the fair check whether fairgrounds have been rented before signing a contract with any fair company. Also, it will be good for their own interests to check whether the fair has a place in TOBB’s fair calendar and whether the fairground has been rented. It is extremely important for us that everyone is doing their job correctly, registered and in accordance with the rules. In this case, IDTM Management will demonstrate its will to fully support everyone equally,” he replied. UFYD Vice-Chairman Mahmut Er attended the teleconference and shared his thoughts. He said that it was believed that the existence of Istanbul World Trade Cen- ter (IDTM) won the legal struggle it undertook with the tenant of the exhibition halls in Istanbul, Yeşilköy. At the Zoom meeting held with the members of the Association of International Fair Organizers (UFYD), Mr. Şekib Avdagiç, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) and Presi- dent of the İDTM, said that the halls will be under the control of İDTM in the third quarter of the current year.
