27 Haber www.ufyd.org nan ticaret odalarına periyodik bilgilendirme yapılması, bu iş için ağırlıklı olarak yurtdışı fuarlar ve TOBB adına İstanbul’da- ki fuarların denetimi ve regülasyonuyla ilgilenen İTO Fuarlar Şubesine görev verilmesi, diğer taraftan İstanbul Ziyaretçi Bü- rosu’nun kongreler yanında fuarların da geliştirilmesi tanıtımı ve yeni fuarların kazanılması anlamında faaliyet göstermesinin temini gibi gayretlerle İstanbul ve Türkiye fuarlarının tanıtılabi- leceği önerisinde bulunuldu. İTO bünyesinde bulunan Fuar Komitesi ve Fuarlar Şubesin- de UFYD ve sektörün direkt temsilcileriyle, UFYD’nin ve İDTM’nin yer aldığı bir Fuarcılık Çalışma Grubu oluşturulması konusundaki görüşleri sorulan Agdavic şu bilgileri verdi: “İlk aşamada İDTM olarak yapılması gerekenler yapıldıktan sonra İTO olarak, diğer ortak kurumlar olarak neler yapılabile- ceği; İTO, İBB, TOBB’un da yapabileceği katkıları da dikkate alarak, İDTM şemsiyesi altında bu önerileri doğru kurgulama- mız gerekiyor. İDTM’nin küçük ortakları İSO, İstanbul Ticaret Borsası ve Bakırköy Belediyesini dahil ederek İDTM şapkası altında kurgulamanın ve bütün kurumların gerekli katkıyı yap- ması ile Kurumsal yaklaşımdan sapmadan verimli çalışmalar ya- pılacağına inancım tamdır” UFYD Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Mahmut Er İTO Başkanı Agdaviç’e fuarların askıya alınmasıyla gündeme gelen sanal fuarlar konusunda görüşlerini sordu. Ticaret Bakanı ve TİM Başkanı tarafından yapılan açıklamaları hatırlattı. Fuarcılık dendiğinde sadece organizatör, fuar alanı ve ziyaretçi boyutunun anlaşıldığı, ancak bunun bir de görünmeyen yüzünün olduğu; stand yapan firmadan fuar alanındaki catering, güvenlik, temiz- lik vs. 100 binlerce insanın ekmek yediği sektör olduğuna dikkat çekti. Fuarların şehir ekonomisine yaptığı katkı, oteller, resto- ranlar, alışveriş merkezleri ile Şehir ekonomisine katkısının göz ardı edilmesi gibi sebeplerden dolayı sektörde bir endişe oluştu- ğunu belirterek, bu konuda fikirlerini sordu. Mahmut Er ayrıca, hem oda üyesi olarak hem de fuarcılık sektörü olarak odaya tabi olmaları sebebiyle bu endişelerini İTO Başkanının gerekli merciler nezdinde dile getirmesini talep etti. Bunun üzerine yeniden söz alan İTO Başkanı sayın Agdaviç, her şeyin eskisi gibi devam etmesinde ısrar edilmesinin, bu çerçeveyi ayakta tutmak için gayret göstermenin çok geri dü- şüreceğini düşündüğünü; yeni beklentilere uygun bir kurgu yapmak durumunda olunduğunu bir an önce hayata geçiril- mesi gerektiğini belirtti. Agda- viç was asked about his opinions on establishing a Fair Organization Working Group under the Fair Committee and the Fairs Department including UFYD and İDTM and other direct representatives of the sector and gave the following information: After the things to be done by İDTM in the first stage and after tak- ing into consideration what can be done by İTO and other partner institutions, we have to plan these suggestions very accurately under the roof of İDTM considering what kind of contributions can be made by İTO, İBB, and TOBB. I fully believe that productive works will be carried out by incorporating the small partners of İDTM, İSO, Istanbul Commodity Exchange and Bakırköy Municipality, and organizing them under the roof of İDTM and making all the neces- sary contributions, without deviating from the Corporate approach.” Vice President of UFYD Board of Directors Mahmut Er asked ITO Chairman Agdaviç about his views on virtual fairs that came to the fore with the suspension of traditional fairs. He reminded the state- ments made by the Minister of Trade and the President of TİM. He pointed out that when it comes to fair organization, only the orga- nizer, fairground, and visitor dimensions are understood but there is also has an invisible face; there is also a sector which is employing 100 thousands of people such as the companies building the booths, catering, security, cleaning companies and etc. He stated that there was a concern in the sector due to the contribution of fairs to the city economy through hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls is being ignored and asked his opinions on this issue. Mahmut Er also demanded that the İTO President express his con- cerns in the presence of the necessary authorities, as they are connect- ed to the chamber both as a member of the chamber and as the fair industry. Getting the floor again after this question, İTO President Agdaviç said he thought that planning the efforts based on the insis- tence on everything to continue as before and sustain this framework will bring us down.
