Gündeme getirilen konunun yok sayılmadığı, İTO ola- rak bir çalışma yapıldığı bilgisini verdi. “Konvansiyonel fuarı yapıp sanal fuarla bunu nasıl destekleriz fuarın ekonomisi na- sıl büyütebiliriz” fikri üzerinde durduklarını belirtti. Çin’de CAM fuarının sanal ortama taşıma süreçlerini devlet- le birlikte yürüttüğünden söz etti. İTO Yönetim Kurulu’nun İstanbul’da sanal fuarla ilgili platform üreten firma ile bir gö- rüşme yaptığını, sadece sanal fuar platformuna taşıyıp işi orda bırakmaktan ziyade yerli firmaların da davet edildiğini, bu fir- maların artırılmış gerçeklik ve sanal gerçeklikle sanal fuar plat- formuna sağlayacakları katkıların değerlendirildiğini belirtti. Yola çıkarken “ME TO - BEN DE” diyen olmak yerine öncü olmanın önemine dikkat çekti. Avdagiç, İTO ekibine İDTM adına Haluk Kanca’nın da dahil edildiğini, beklentilerin anlatıldığını, İDTM tarafındaki çer- çevenin paylaşıldığını ve önümüzdeki dönemde tüm fuarların sanal fuar destekli konvansiyonel fuar - Hibrit fuar uygulaması gerekir mi noktasına gelindiği bilgisini verdi. Sektörün paydaşlarının her birinin bununla ilgili mali ve idari anlamda arzu edilen verimliliği sağlayamayacağını ifade eden Avdagiç, İDTM olarak tüm sektörün kullanabileceği bir alt- yapı oluşturulması ve sektörün bundan istediği çerçeveyi alıp hayata geçirmesi daha efektif bir fayda sağlasın düşüncesinde olduklarını ve ilerleme sağladıktan sonra sektörle paylaşacak- larını belirtti. İTO Başkanı Avdagiç, Haluk Kanca’dan sürecin biraz iler- lemesinden ve İTO Yönetim Kurulu ile paylaştıktan sonra UFYD’den de temsilcilerin bu çalışmaya dahil edilmesini ta- kip etmesi talimatını verdiğini ifade etti. He stated that they were focusing on the idea of “How to build a conventional fair and support it with a virtual fair, and how we can grow the economy of the fair”. He mentioned that they are carrying out the virtualization processes of CAM fair in China together with the state. He stated that İTO Board of Directors had a meeting with the company that produces platforms related to virtual fair in Istanbul, that local companies are also invited rather than just shifting to the virtual fair platform and leaving the business there, and the contribution of these companies to the virtual fair platform with augmented reality and virtual reality is evaluated. He pointed out the importance of being a pioneer instead of saying “ME TOO” on his way. Avdagiç stated that Haluk Kanca was also included in the ITO team on behalf of İDTM, that the expectations were explained, the general framework on the İDTM side was shared, and that they came to the point of evaluating whether or not all fairs should be implemented as conventional fair supported with virtual fair - hybrid fair. Expressing that each of the stakeholders of the sector will not be able to achieve the desired efficiency in financial and administrative terms, Avdagiç stated that he believes that creating an infrastructure that the entire industry can use as İDTM and taking the framework that the sector wants from it will provide a more effective benefit and that he will share it with the sector after making progress in this regard. İTOPresident Avdagiç stated he orderedHaluk Kanca to share this with the İTO board of management after the process progresses to a certain level and to ensure UFYD representatives are included in this study. UFYD Vice-Chairman Mahmut Er stated that training is a crucial issue for the sector and asked whether it is possible to open a depart- ment at İstanbul Ticaret University with the contribution of UFYD in order to provide training for industry professionals and partici- pants. İTO President Avdagiç replied as follows: “We believe that it is more appropriate to transfer this to the academic program after starting with training and seminar programs and seeing the number of participants, their patience, and how long they want to receive training. We believe that step-by-step conventional training, certificate programs, and undergraduate or graduate programs can be created in the third stage depending on these.”
